Fan Art Guidelines

Guidelines for fan art using CNP characters. Check the usage conditions for individuals and corporations, prohibited activities, and precautions when selling NFTs to create your work safely and creatively.

1For Individuals

Basically, follows CryptoNinja guidelines.

CNP basically follows the CryptoNinja guidelines. You are also permitted to create works using CNP materials directly.

2For Corporate Use

Available through license agreements.

Corporate entities, or individuals deemed equivalent to corporations, may use CNP's brand and characters by entering into a license agreement. The agreement will be one of the following: using official designs provided by CNP, using original designs illustrated by CNP, or using original designs reviewed by CNP.

3Notes for Both Individuals and Corporations

Please review carefully before creating fan art.

CNP brand cannot be used freely. For example, you cannot operate a business like "CNP Learning Academy" without permission.
Generative art is prohibited from using CNP base models or tracing, regardless of edition size.
Even for single collections, if the collection will contain 100 or more items, base model usage and tracing are prohibited as with generative art.
We welcome fan art created using generative AI. However, using existing CNP materials or works as base material for generative AI requires confirmation from the copyright holder of each material or work. Please consult in advance with the CNP team and relevant copyright holders. Also, be aware that if the generated output infringes on third-party rights, you may face legal liability.
Generative NFTs that might be mistaken for official CNP products may not be permitted for sale regardless of creation method (generative, hand-drawn, AI, etc.). For safety, we recommend consulting with NinjaDAO's "cnp inquiry" channel before planning generative NFTs using fan art.
You are free to create new illustrated works or original art using CNP characters. We look forward to creative works full of originality.

4Requirements When Selling NFTs

Essential information if you plan to sell fan art NFTs.

When selling NFTs created as fan art of CNP, you must clearly label them as "Fan Art" or "Fan Creation."

5Preventing Misidentification

Please take care to prevent confusion with official projects.

While CNP welcomes fan art, never use terms like "Collaboration" or "Partnership" that might suggest this is an official project.

6Official NFT Projects

The following are official projects involving CNP operations:

"CryptoNinja Partners (CNP)"
"Hometown CNP"
"CNP Toys (LINE NFT)"
"CNP Villains (LINE NFT)"

7Prohibited Activities

The following uses of CNP brand and characters are not permitted.

Furusato Nozei NFTs
Trading cards (additional categories may be added through license agreements in the future)

8Important Notes on Fan Art

Please review carefully and proceed safely.

Fan art that we determine damages the value of the CNP brand or characters may be subject to takedown requests or sales suspension.
When creating works using CNP brand and characters, please exercise appropriate care to prevent confusion with official projects.
In particular, selling products or NFTs that combine CNP brand and characters with names that suggest prohibited activities (e.g., "trading card") is prohibited.
